On October 26-27, we\u00a0<\/span>proudly hosted the initial Regional Tourism Forum in the picturesque town of Dilijan. Organized by Green Rock in collaboration with the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, this landmark event brought together industry leaders, government officials, and international experts to advance the development of tourism and strengthen regional cooperation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Held at the Monte Melkonyan Military Sports College, the forum aimed to position Armenia as a premier tourism and business destination in the region, with a particular focus on MICE tourism. The event featured a dynamic agenda of high-level discussions, innovative presentations, and collaborative dialogue, all designed to inspire sustainable growth and strategic development in the tourism sector.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The forum opened with a powerful session featuring distinguished speakers who underscored the strategic importance of MICE tourism.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Deputy Minister of Economy<\/span> Arman Khojoyan <\/span><\/b>emphasized that MICE tourism plays a pivotal role in Armenia\u2019s economic strategy, with opportunities for growth extending into complementary sectors such as agrotourism.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Vazgen Gevorkian, <\/span><\/b>a key supporter of the forum, highlighted the need for practical solutions to enhance Armenia\u2019s tourism branding and attract foreign investment. Elina Karapetyan <\/span><\/b>spoke about the importance of leveraging Armenia\u2019s strategic location and favorable investment climate to boost its tourism sector. She detailed Armenia\u2019s international partnerships, protective legal frameworks for foreign investors, and tax incentives, which make it a competitive and attractive destination.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The Tourism Regional Forum featured two transformative panel discussions, each serving as a catalyst for shaping the future of MICE tourism in Armenia.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The first panel, <\/span>\u201cMICE Tourism in the Region \u2013 Opportunities for Growth,\u201d<\/span><\/i> brought together experts who explored regional prospects and collaborative opportunities. Moderated by <\/span>Zarmine Zeitountsian<\/span><\/b>, the discussion spotlighted <\/span>Arman Khojoyan<\/span><\/b>, Deputy Minister of Economy of RA, who emphasized Armenia\u2019s untapped potential in the MICE sector. <\/span>Levon Ohanesyan<\/span><\/b>, General Director of Enterprise Armenia, spoke about creating an investor-friendly environment, while <\/span>Diana Karapetyan<\/span><\/b> Head of Marketing and Promotion Department of the Tourism Committee shared strategies to elevate Armenia\u2019s global visibility. Adding regional perspectives, <\/span>Anastasia Popova<\/span><\/b> from Moscow\u2019s Tourism Development Office shared insights into interregional cooperation, complemented by <\/span>Nikolay Kovalev<\/span><\/b> of EY, who highlighted competitive strategies for attracting international events.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The second panel, <\/span>\u201cInnovations and Investment in MICE Tourism Infrastructure and Services,\u201d<\/span><\/i> underscored the critical role of infrastructure and services in driving growth. Moderated by <\/span>Gayane Kocharyan<\/span><\/b>, the session included <\/span>Gevorg Mantashyan<\/span><\/b>, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, who emphasized the importance of integrating technology in MICE tourism. <\/span>Vazgen Gevorkyan<\/span><\/b>, an entrepreneur, highlighted the investment potential in Armenia\u2019s tourism landscape. <\/span>Madlene Minassian<\/span><\/b> from Picsart shed light on aligning corporate innovation with tourism growth, while <\/span>Syuzanna Azoyan<\/span><\/b> of SADA Armenia discussed enhancing service standards to meet global expectations. <\/span>Tigran Harutyunyan<\/span><\/b>, founder of MyLer Mountain Resort, shared his vision for sustainable tourism development.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Additionally, <\/span>Bekor<\/span><\/b> displayed traditional khachkar art, reflecting Armenia\u2019s deep historical and artistic roots.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

A fashion show curated by the <\/span>Chamber of Fashion and Design<\/span><\/b> added a modern twist to the cultural program, blending tradition with contemporary creativity.
